Axel Stenross Maritime Museum

Swim with Sea Lions

Calypso Star Charters run regular tours that include wetsuits, snorkels and everything you need. The water stays a similar temperature year-round, so any season is a good time for this experience.
Koalas at Mikkira Station
Mikkira Station is one of the few places in Australia where you can see wild koalas in large numbers. Surrounded by old Manna Gums, the property is peaceful and full of wildlife. Wander the trails and you will spot koalas resting in the canopy. Bookings are essential and made through the Port Lincoln Visitor Information Centre.
Coffin Bay National Park

A short drive west, Coffin Bay National Park showcases some of the Eyre Peninsula’s most dramatic coastline. Expect sweeping dunes, surf beaches, cliffs and quiet bays. Visit Point Avoid and Golden Island for views that stretch across the islands offshore, explore Yangie Bay by canoe or take a 4WD to the northern beaches for a secluded day by the water.
Koppio Smithy Museum
This museum offers a look into the history of the Koppio district, with a restored blacksmith shop, farming equipment and cultural displays. It is a thoughtful stop for anyone interested in local heritage.
Neptune Islands
