eGift Card Terms & Conditions

By purchasing, using, or attempting to use a Teakle Wines eGift Card, you accept and agree to these Terms and Conditions.

1. Where you can use your eGift Card

  • Teakle Wines eGift Cards can be used at The Line & Label Restaurant, Teakle Wines Cellar Door and online shop at teaklewines.com
  • At the Cellar Door, they can be used for takeaway wine, merchandise and on-premise drinks and food orders, as well as tasting experiences.
  • At The Line & Label Restaurant, they cannot be used for weddings, functions, prepaid events or set-menu experiences.

2. Validity and expiry

  • Your eGift Card is valid for 36 months (3 years) from the date of issue, in line with Australian Consumer Law.
  • The issue and expiry dates are clearly shown on your receipt or in your eGift Card email.
  • Any unused balance will expire after this date and cannot be extended, refunded or credited.

3. Using your card

  • You can use your eGift Card for full or part payments.
  • If your purchase exceeds the card balance, you’ll need to pay the difference using another payment method.
  • You can check your remaining balance online at any time.
  • eGift Cards are non-reloadable and cannot be transferred, resold or exchanged for cash, unless required by law.

4. Fees and charges

  • We do not charge any fees to use your eGift Card after it has been purchased.
  • There are no activation, balance check or inactivity fees.

5. Lost or stolen cards

  • Your eGift Card is treated like cash. If it’s lost or stolen, we’re unable to replace or refund it.
  • Keep your card details safe and secure.

6. Proof of identity

We may ask for photo ID when you use your card, especially if we believe it may have been lost, stolen, or used without permission.

7. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time, but any changes will not apply to cards already purchased unless required by law. The latest version will always be available on our website.

8. Business changes or closure

  • If Teakle Wines is sold as a continuing business, your eGift Card will remain valid.
  • If Teakle Wines goes into liquidation or closes, eGift Card holders may be considered unsecured creditors and redemption is not guaranteed.

9. Refunds and cancellations

  • eGift Cards are non-refundable, whether purchased or received as a gift.
  • No refunds will be given for unused balances after expiry, unless required by law.

10. Card limits

  • You can buy eGift Cards in values from $20 to $1,000 AUD.
  • Cards are issued in Australian dollars and are only valid in Australia.

11. Privacy

  • We handle your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
  • Your payment is processed by a secure third-party provider. We do not store or see your full credit card number.

12. Disputes or questions

  • If you have a concern or need help, please contact us directly at admin@teaklewines.com
  • If we can’t resolve your issue, you may contact Consumer and Business Services South Australia or the ACCC.

These terms are governed by the laws of South Australia.
