Position Description 

The Line and Label Restaurant is located at TEAKLE Wines in Port Lincoln, South Australia.

The Line & Label restaurant boasts 1 chef’s hat and focusses on the fantastic local Eyre Peninsula seafood. This is a truly unique opportunity to work in one of SA's best restaurants with a paddock-to-plate philosophy and its own extensive vegetable & herb gardens and orchards.

We are recruiting for a full-time role for a passionate chef. The restaurant is open for Thursday to Sunday trade, as well as for special events including bespoke culinary dinners and private functions.

The venue incorporates a state-of-the-art facility and kitchen, as well as magnificent outdoor garden areas. As Demi Chef, your role will be to support the kitchen team in all aspects of kitchen operations.

Applicants must have a passion for excellent food and the ability to work well under pressure. Onsite shared staff accommodation is available for the successful applicant.

As the successful candidate you will demonstrate:

· High level of organisation and attention to detail

· Well developed cooking skills

· Confident in taking ownership of a section

· Innovative, imaginative, passionate

· A team-oriented attitude

Key experience and skill requirements include:

· Certificate qualification in Commercial Cookery

· Professional attitude & work ethic

· High end restaurant experience desirable

· Food safety training
